Science in the Parks:
A six-week summer outreach program designed for children of all ages. Each week we visit a different park, each day we present a collection of interactive, playful, and fun science activities.
The College of Science at ¶¶Òô³Ô¹Ï is dedicated to supporting science and math education in the northern Utah community. Our outreach program is geared toward providing resources that enable hand-on learning, supporting community engagement, and making math and science a fun and engaging experience for children of all ages!

Physics Open House:
Join us for demonstrations, presentations, and interactive experiences for the entire family. Doors are open to the general public. Activities range from whimsical to practical.
Ott Planetarium:
Offering educational support and entertaining public outreach as part of the Physics and Astronomy Department. The full dome theater & public observatory are available for reservations.
Science and math experiences that help high school students explore different subjects.
Anatomy Lab Tour:
Supported by the human anatomy program, it offers local schools an immersive tour to augment the curriculum, enrich the learning environment, & expose them Weber State.
N. Utah STEM Expo:
Davis, Morgan, Ogden and Weber Districts students and teachers engage in demonstrations and workshops, while gaining insight into S.T.E.M. careers & higher education options.
Science Day:
Local high school students (grades 9-12) participate with faculty and staff for a day of science-related workshops. Students get an in-depth look at classes, lab research and careers.
Resources and events that help teachers understand and teach science and math on a more interactive level.
Science Kits:
Free classroom-based science kits designed around current Utah science standards. Kits includes durable specimens, lesson plans, interactive content and more.
Teacher Twilight: Workshops help local teachers learn and implement the new SEED standards. Events include topics in Integrating Art & Science, Climate Science, Science Misconceptions & more!
STEM Nights:
Local industry, educators, parents and students come to participate and learn about STEM related activities, careers and more! Get your school's event listed by contacting us.
