Children's Adaptive Physical Education Society! (CAPES)

Children's Adaptive Physical Education Society (CAPES!) is a skill development initiative for children with disabilities in and around the Ogden community. ¶¶Òô³Ô¹Ï students work with participating children as a collaborative effort between the physical education and teacher education programs in the the Dr. Ezekiel R. Dumke College of Health Professions and the College of Social Sciences & Education.


Time and Place

CAPES! meets Tuesday evenings, 6:15-7:30 p.m., from September to early December and January to early April. Specific dates are determined each semester. 

Sessions occur in the Swenson Gym in the Stromberg Complex at ¶¶Òô³Ô¹Ï (). You can park in the A7 parking lot near the Swenson Gym. Parking is free after 4 p.m.

Cost

Registration is $40 per semester per child. Fees go toward Swenson Gym reservation, pool use and equipment replacement. We accept cash, credit/debit cards or checks (make checks payable to "CAPES! ¶¶Òô³Ô¹Ï").
