Green Purchasing
¶¶Òô³Ô¹Ï is committed to achieve and modeling . While ¶¶Òô³Ô¹Ï has significantly there is work to be done reducing the greenhouse gas emissions and environmental impacts associated with university purchasing. Every individual, procurement specialist, and department purchasing on behalf of ¶¶Òô³Ô¹Ï has an opportunity to help the University reduce its environmental impact. To ensure that ¶¶Òô³Ô¹Ï's sustainability goals are achieved, it is the University's preference that all personnel purchase and use environmentally preferable products wherever practicable.
¶¶Òô³Ô¹Ï has outlined green purchasing guidelines for the nine product categories below. For products and services that are not within one of the nine categories below, can be utilized by ¶¶Òô³Ô¹Ï personnel to select environmentally preferable products.
