First Year Experience

The First Year Experience (FYE) Program is designed to help incoming students make a successful transition into the university community by offering a three-credit-hour, elective course called Foundations of College Success (FYE 1105). Whether you have just graduated from high school or are returning to school, FYE will help you navigate the ¶¶Òô³Ô¹Ï experience and assist you in making progress toward achieving your educational and personal goals.

First Year Learning Communities

Foundations Learning Communities (Wildcat Scholars)

Business-Focused FYE

My major is housed within the Goddard School of Business and Economics.

Engineering Learning Community

My major is housed within the College of Engineering, Applied Science, and Technology.

In-Person Classes

I want to be with people.

Online Options

I like taking classes virtually (synchronously) or online (asynchronously).

Returning Students

I’m coming back and I want to do it right.

Outdoor

I want to take my education outside.

Upward Bound

I am a high school student interested in joining a pre-college program.
